EU allocation for regional development

The allocation for the Regional Development program is set at 3.726 million Euros for the period 2007-1013. The objective of the Regional Operational Program is to support a balanced economic and social development among the Romanian regions, according to their specific needs and resources. It focuses on the urban growth poles specially the ones lagging behind. It will cover a great variety of actions, mostly through grant schemes aimed at supporting SMEs.
